The cornerstone of our mission, the education program has grown since its inception in 2011 and will see expansion as the Build the High School campaign continues in 2024!

Health is a crucial pillar of all the RTRA does on campus and within the community. Annually, we host a community health clinic during the summer while our school clinic is open year-round and is available to students and staff.

sustainability
Our sustainability pillar includes the Center for Social Enterprise (Yambala Tailoring Program and Carpentry), Farm to Feed, and most recently, the School of Financial Empowerment.

50 desks were made for the primary school.
17 desks were repaired in the primary school.
30 stools were repaired in the high school.
3 main blackboards and 4 portable blackboards were made for the high school.
33 curtain rods were made for the campus life program.
2 classes were partitioned to create more space for the high school classes.
Gutters were fixed on the dorm, forever family home, kitchen, and water system.
The permanent kitchen was roofed.
The temporary kitchen was constructed and roofed.
Plumbing repairs were made on the tanks located in the school campus.
farm to feed
An ongoing effort since 2020, Farm to Feed provides food and income generation for campus life.
In addition:
250 eucalyptus trees were harvested for the construction of the upper kitchen, makeshift shelter for the Kalina block constructors and New Gospel messengers church Bwasandeku.
One calf was produced, totally 5 cows
28 bags of sweet potatoes were harvested for student meals
school of financial empowerment
The SOFE training began in 2023 and includes 195 community people, businessmen and women, and local leaders to improve financial literacy so caregivers can make informed decisions about savings, investments, and spending.
